Gur remains steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, June 25: Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile activity due to off season and settled around previous levels. Following are today's rates per quintal: Gur chakku 3,300-3,400, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,600-3,700. Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,900-2,950, chakku 2,850-3,100, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A. Muradnagar: Pedi 3,050-3,100 and dhayya 3,050-3,100. (PTI)
