Govt announces Pooja holidays for schools from Nov 9

JAMMU: The State Government today directed all the Government as well as private schools upto higher secondary level in Jammu division to observe week-long Pooja (Diwali) holidays from November 9."All the educational institutions, including recognised private schools, upto higher secondary school level of Jammu division shall observe Pooja holidays from November 9 to November 14," an official spokesperson said.Strict action would be taken against any default on part of private schools in observance of holidays, he added.
