Governor prorogues Legislature

Excelsior Correspondent SRINAGAR, July 14: Approving the State Government's proposal, received from the Chief Minister, Governor N N Vohra has, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Section 53 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, prorogued the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council.
