Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Oct 25: Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD), a common platform for various displaced Kashmiri Pandit organizations and individuals worldwide has vociferously supported the Government's action in Jammu & Kashmir and is very much involved in clearing any misinformation all over the globe. GKPD has organized public rallies, seminars, debates and discussions in various cities of the world and is contributing to the print and digital media to put forth viewpoints - in support of India. This was stated by GKDP stated in a handout issued here today. It said Howdy Modi event in Houston US; was a clear expression of the same by GKPD team in US; highlighting that this Government's global connect and vision has magnified the image of India in a very short span of time. GKPD believes the abrogation of obsolete Articles 370 and 35A stand out as clear indicators of a Government that means business. In continuation of this mammoth mission, GKPD expressed the hope that GoI would take action against those people of Indian origin who are giving credence to anti-India expression overseas. It requested the Indian Government to issue clear direction to the Consulates in various countries that these India bashers be booked and denied any VISA to travel to India. The Consulates need to work closely with Indian associations abroad to get help to identify these miscreants. GKPD believes that this will be a major deterrent in checking the wrong messages generated by such elements in various parts of the world, the handout said. It said at the same time this press release is to convey absolute frustration of the displaced community in view of the deafening silence of GoI about the return of the community to their homeland. GKPD has already reiterated the conditions of the return in alignment with the Margdarshan 91 resolution through its memorandum of September 14, 2018 (that was forwarded to PM Modi from all corners of the world - starting from New Zealand) and impresses upon the Government to form a representative Council of the displaced community to negotiate the modalities of the reversal of their genocide.
