Forgetting our heroes

Sir,After reading the heroics of 6 Kumaon at Walong and 13 Kumaon at Rezangla in 1962 against various odds, I can only pen down my works as suchThey fought on and on and onTill nothing was left with themNo bullets, no grenadesAnd not even their lives.It is very sad that how ungrateful we have become today in the midst of materialism and selfishness that we tend to forget our heroes who had sacrificed everything for us while� fighting the enemy against very heavy odds.Yours etc�.Abhijit DasOn e-mail
