Ex-servicemen camp organized

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Jan 19:� Sainik Welfare Department (J&K) organised a field camp in Saruinsar area of district Jammu today.A large number of ex-servicemen and war widows and their children attended the camp. Speaking on behalf of retired soldiers� and widows, Kapur Devi, widow of 1965 Indo-Pak war hero, Late Havaldar Lal Chand of village Jaithli ( Saruinsar) lauded this gesture of Sainik Welfare Department.Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Jammu,� Col ( Retd) Rawel Singh explained the gathering about the revised schemes and other welfare measures� being extended by the Central and the State Govts for them. The queries of� ex-servicemen, war widows and their children were also replied by the ZSWO staff.
