Drug peddler nabbed with charas

Excelsior Correspondent REASI, June 7: The police nabbed a drug peddler in Mahore area and recovered 100 gms of charas from his possession today. Official sources said that Mahore police arrested one narcotic peddler from Jamslan area of Tehsil Mahore today. During his frisking the police recovered six chhallis in which nearly 100 gms of charas was wrapped. He was arrested on the spot and charas seized. He was identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Qamar Din, resident of Shajroo. He was involved in selling drugs in Jamslan, Mulas and Sildhar area of Tehsil Mahore. A case FIR No. 32/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stand registered in Police Station Mahore against him. Further investigation was going on.
