Director Handicrafts re-designated, Yatoo gets charge of MD Corporation

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, June 8: Consequent upon the merger of the Departments as well as Corporations of Handicrafts and Handloom Development, Director Handicrafts, J&K Mussarat-ul-Islam has been re-designated as Director Handloom & Handicrafts, Kashmir while Hashmat Ali Yatoo, Managing Director J&K Handicrafts (S&E) Corporation, shall hold the charge of Managing Director, J&K Handloom & Handicrafts Corporation, till further orders. Separate orders with regard to re-designation of the post of Director Handicraft as Director, Handloom & Handicrafts, Kashmir and assignment of the charge of MD J&K Handloom & Handicrafts Corporation, were issued today by the General Administration Department. Pertinent to mention that vide Government order number 88-IND of 2020, dated 8-5-2020, the Handicrafts Department and Handloom Development Department were merged to a single department with two Directorates at divisional level while the J&K Handicrafts (S&E) Corporation and J&K Handloom Development Corporation were also merged to a single Corporation viz Jammu and Kashmir Handloom & Handicrafts Corporation, vide Government order number 70-IND of 2020, dated 30-3-2020.
