DIET organizes 35th District Level Science Exhibition

Excelsior CorrespondentRAJOURI, Oct 6: DIET organized 35th District Level Science Exhibition, in which students participated actively.The exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Sougat Biswas in presence of DIET Principal, Saif Ali Chohan.More than 80 different models based on new and innovative scientific ideas were displayed in three categories�elementary, secondary and senior secondary.Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Sougat Biswas appreciated the scientific approach of the students in the shape of models displayed in this exhibition. He expressed that the ideas, which were displayed in this exhibition if implemented in day today life will prove developmental.While interacting with the participating students of Government Higher Secondary School, Panihad, DC, appreciated the step taken to improve the power crises through their energy saver model, which when installed in the houses or offices can improve the power position.At Senior Secondary Level, Government Higher Secondary School, Panihad secured first Position, whereas Himalyan Education Mission School. Rajouri and Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Rajouri claimed second and third positions respectively.
