Coal scam case: SC stays Manmohan's summons; issues notice to CBI

NEW DELHI :  In a big relief to former Prime Minister  Manmohan Singh, the Supreme Court today stayed the lower court  order, which issued him summons to appear before the trial court  as an accused in the coal block allocation scam case.    A two-judge bench issued notice to the CBI and sought a reply from the investigating agency in three weeks.
