Clerical cadre gears up for Feb 23 strike

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Feb 16: Clerical cadre employees have geared� up their� activities in view of their pen down strike on February 23.These employees under the banner of� All Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Departments Clerical� Staff Association� have resolved to press� the Govt� to accept their pending demand of removing pay anomalies in their grades. They have also demanded conduct of DPC, enhancement of Medical Allowance� from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month in favour of employees and pensioners and early� implementation of 7th Pay Commission report in J&K.Meanwhile,�� J&K Youth� Services & Sports Employees Association, School Education Department Clerical Employees Association and State Social Welfare & ICDS Employees Association have� decided to participate in the Feb 23 strike programme and appealed to the workers to support the common cause.
