Another woman bootlegger held

Excelsior CorrespondentKATRA, Nov 7:� Yet another female bootlegger was held� today in Katra when she was smuggling illicit liquor to the holy town.The accused, identified as Naveeta Rani, wife of Pawan Kumar of Pouni Mandir Katra, was intercepted by a Police Party of PCP Seerli (Katra),� under the supervision of SHO Katra, Insp Kuldeep Krishan, when she was on way towards Katra from Chamba side. On her frisking by� lady Constable on duty,� 30 Poly pouches of J&K Excise liquor were recovered from her possession.� On this, a case FIR No. 179/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC has been registered at P/S Katra.It is pertinent to mention here that on October 10, 2015,� husband of this woman bootlegger� was also booked in FIR No.162/2015 U/S 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC after� 130 poly pouches were recovered from his possession.
