Absconder arrested after 7 yrs

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Dec 6: Bagh-e-Bahu police arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest for the past seven years.The accused has been identified as Abdul Majid, son of Imam Din, a resident of Sunjwan, Jammu.He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 39/10 with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station. The court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.Further investigation into the case is going on.Police team led by SHO Bagh-e-Bahu Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Arun Jamwal and SP South Sandeep Choudhary.
