Excelsior Correspondent POONCH, Dec 23: After a long interval of over at least four weeks, 20 Indian (J&K residents) crossed over to PoK via Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point today. Not even single J&K resident could travel to PoK in last several weeks due to non-clearance of their files by the Pak authorities. After mounting pressure from the Indian authorities, these people would cross over to that side to meet their relatives. A good number of 78 persons crossed over to that side today and they included 58 PoK returnees. Today when the LoC point opened, 50 PoK residents arrived from that side. Not even a single J&K resident returned from the other side as for the last about four weeks no permission was granted to the Indian residents by the Pak authorities while a good number of visitors are arriving here from PoK.
