2 acquitted in kidnapping, rape case

Excelsior CorrespondentJAMMU, Dec 28: Principal Sessions Judge Poonch, Jaffer Hussain Beigh today acquitted Ghulam Fareed, son of Ghulam Mohd and Anayat�Ullah, son of Qutub Din, who were facing trial in kidnapping and rape case registered in February 2006.After hearing both the sides, the Court observed, �the prosecution case with respect to these accused is doubtful and is not believable�.Thus, the accused Ghulam Fareed and Annayat Ullah were acquitted by giving them the benefit of doubt.
