JAMMU, June 12: To highlight their issues, newly appointed teachers today formed their body under the name and style Newly Appointed Teachers Association Jammu.
The body was formed during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Tajinder Singh wherein the ReTs demand for inclusion of their five-year tenure in service record was strongly opposed. Placing ReTs with the general line teachers will jeopardize the normal process of the seniority and NATA will oppose any such move tooth and nail, the meet resolved.
The meeting was attended by Ramandeep Singh, Aman Sharma, Dileep, Sukhdev and others.
