JAMMU, Oct 12: The election of Tax Bar Association Jammu for 2019-21 was conducted under the chairmanship of Advocate Sunil Sharma in the premises of Excise and Taxation Complex today.
Advocate Sachin Sharma was declared president of the Association as he secured 31 votes defeating other candidates namely Advocate V K Suri, Advocate V K Grover and Advocate Vijay Sharma.
For the post of senior vice-president, Advocate Anil Gupta secured 45 votes defeating Advocate Amit Gupta while as for the post of vice-president Advocate Suraj Singh Wazir secured 60 votes defeating Advocate Atul Chanyal.
Advocate Ankush Sawhney was declared general secretary uncontested and Advocate Pranav Gupta was declared Joint Secretary-cum-Cashier uncontested.
