JAMMU, Apr 19: New Bharat Football Club thrashed Vijay Young Football Club by four goals to nil (4-0), while Nagrota FC held Shaheen Blue FC to goalless draw in the ongoing 2nd Phase of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State Football League, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), here.
In the first match, Uday Slathia scored two goals, while Vikrant, Aatish and Arun netted one goal each for New Bharat Club.
The matches were officiated by Ashish, Surjeet, Ankit Mehta, Anish, Ajay Kumar, Abhishek Kumar, Dewanshu and Ajay Singh.
Prominent among others who witnessed the match were Sheikh Mehmood, District President DFA Jammu, Surinder Singh Bunty, Vice President JKFA, Romesh Chander, Amardeep Singh, Charan Dass, Varinder Kumar, Yousuf Don, Rajesh Sumbria and Nitin Singh.
