JAMUU, Dec 11: A State level declamation contest was today organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra on topic ‘Patriotism and Nation Building’ with theme ‘ Sabka Sath ,Sabka Vikas , Sabka Vishwas’
Dr Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services and Sports, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Among others, Bikram S Gill, Director NYK; Surbjeet Singh Bedi, Deputy Director NYK were also present on the occasion.
The finalist of district level declamation contest from Kathua, Jammu, Rajouri, Doda, Poonch, and Udhampur participated in state level contest.
Nayeeda Chaudhary of Samba; Humara Hashimy of Poonch and Amir Suhail of Doda secured 1st , 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
The winner of state level contest will participate in National level Declamation contest to be held at Delhi in the month of January 2020.
