JAMMU, Aug 2: National Conference Students Union (NCSU) organised awareness programme to educate village people about Public Service Guarantee (PSG) and Right to Information (RTI) Acts at Jourian.
Addressing the gathering, Rakesh Singh Chib, provincial president, said that initially Revenue, PHE, Power, CA&PD, Social Welfare and Transport Departments have been brought under the ambit of PSG Act to ease the problems of the people.
Rakesh said that any Government functionary showing any negligence or delay in time line delivery of services to the people is liable for a punishment while the affected individual would be rewarded for this lapse by the Government functionary out of the fine imposed on the erring official.
