NC protests over deteriorating situation in Valley

RAMBAN, Apr 19: The Banihal unit of National Conference today  held strong protests in the town against the PDP-BJP Government for plunging Jammu and Kashmir into unprecedented crisis with people feeling scary and insecure.
Addressing protesters party district president, Sajjad Shaheen said the people have been pushed to the wall, as a result of failure of the Government in safeguarding their lives and creating a peaceful atmosphere in the State. He expressed anguish over deteriorating law and order situation and said the life has come to grinding halt, the economy is in disarray and people are made to suffer on all fronts.
Shaheen said the people are feeling betrayed with the coalition partners having failed in meeting their urges and aspirations by not initiating resolution of the political issues confronted by the state. He urged the President of  India to dismiss the present dispensation for its failure on all fronts and impose the Governor’s Rule at the earliest.
