JAMMU, Aug 29: Dr. Narinder Singh, State general secretary BJP toured Jammu, Kathua and Samba districts for galvanizing the organization at Mandal and district levels.
In a statement issued here, today Dr Singh said that the Mandal and district level committees were made aware about the booth level activities they need to undertake for strengthening the party. The Vistaraks were honoured in each Constituency by respective MLAs, he added.
Dr. Singh in his interaction with the press informed that BJP will be organizing State level programme of Vistaraks on September 17, 2017, and in November and December Mandal and district committees training programmes will be organized to train them for assigning duties to the Vistakras at booth level.
Dr Singh in his interaction with party workers laid stress on strengthening the party at booth level and urged them to utilize the services of Vistaraks. He also cautioned them the false propaganda launched by opposition parties against the BJP and said that partymen are duty bound to highlight the public welfare schemes and projects launched by both State and State Government.
He said that the BJP touched those areas of State which were neglected by successive Governments in last 70 years of independence and Narendra Modi Government is committed to build a New India by 2022 in which every one irrespective of his religion, region, caste and colour will be happy and prosperous.
He without naming any body said that what the opposition can claim of development that the area from which a former Union Minister and CM belongs lacked the post office facilities and still they claim to be well wishers of people, he added.
Highlighting party activities he said In January the BJP State unit will hold booth workers meeting of the Jammu region in which 50000 booth level workers will participate. The State BJP is gearing itself for 2019 Parliamentary election for repeating 2014 performance, when for the first time it won 3 Lok Saba seats. Dr Singh, who has a vast experience in organizational matters, has been tasked to strengthen the party at booth level. For this the mandal and district committees will be undertaking social activities like health camps, plantation drive, sports meets and other activities. Under the Centenary year of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya programme each district will hold seminars informed Dr Singh.
