Naeem evicted from Govt residence

Srinagar, June 26: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former Minister in the PDP-BJP Government, Naeem Akhtar, has been forcibly evicted from his Government residence at Gupkar area.
The Estates Department arrived at Neem’s Government owned residence yesterday and directed him to vacate the house. As he sought a day’s time, the officials threatened him forcible eviction if he failed to vacate the house in the given time. He later vacated the house and shifted to Paraypora Barzulla.
Akhtar was recently released from the jail after Public Safety Act invoked against him was revoked.
