DODA, Sept 19: Wrestler Nadeem won the Annual Dharia Bhallessa Dangal title, organised by Wrestling Committee Dharie, here today.
The championship was organised under the overall supervision of Rakesh Kumar and other members of the Dangal Committee, wherein a large number of wrestlers from Kathua, Jammu, Udhampur, Doda and Kishtwar participated in the event.
About 100 bouts were played in the one day long wrestling event, wherein ex MLA Bhaderwah, Daleep Singh Parihar was the chief guest on the occasion who gave away cash prizes to the winners.
The first main bout was fought between Wrestler Talib from Punjab and Wrestler Nadeem from Bhallessa which was won by Nadeem.
The winner was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 by the chief guest of the event, while the runner-up wrestler got Rs 20000 as cash prize.
