Nadda, Dr Jitendra, Madhav visit Kishtwar; say Govt to launch decisive fight against terror

KISHTWAR, Nov 13: Maintaining that fight against the terrorism in J&K has entered the last phase, Union Minister of Health J P Nadda today said that the people will soon witness encouraging results of war launched by the Government to end the terrorism from this border State.

Addressing a tribute giving ceremony (Shrandhanjali Sabha) held on the occasion of 13th Day of senior BJP leader Anil Parihar and his brother Ajit Parihar here today, Nadda who was also accompanied by his Ministerial colleague in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, BJP national general secretary incharge J&K, Ram Madhav and BJP State president Ravinder Raina said that no leniency will be shown towards the anti national elements and terrorists against whom a proactive strategy has been adopted in Kashmir valley and same policy will be pursued in the hilly belt of erstwhile Doda district to flush them out.
The Union Minister said the terrorism in the State is on death bed now as they (terrorists) are facing a constant pressure from security forces in Kashmir valley and they will not be allowed to regroup any where as Government is committed to weed it out from the entire State.
While paying glowing tributes to Parihar brothers, he said their supreme sacrifices will not go in rain and people will see encouraging results soon as the fight against the terrorism has entered into a decisive phase now and the roots of terrorism will be eroded from the State once and for all.
Nadda said the terrorists who are facing a constant pressure from security forces in the Valley are in a desperation and the attack on Parihar brothers is the result of the same desperation. But terrorists are losing ground and will soon meet their end, he added.
He said the people from Kishtwar soon after this unfortunate incident met the Union Home Minister and Defence Minister who too showed their concern over the Kishtwar situation and killing of Parihar brothers. Besides, BJP national general secretary, Ram Madhav will also meet Chief Secretary and discuss the situation with him and within days you will see a change in the security scenario in the State, he added.
He said Kishtwar tragedy is unbelievable for the nationalist forces in the country. Parihar was a true nationalist who was working for the national cause in the State as well as hilly belt of Doda –Kishtwar by taking the members of majority community along with him.
He said entire nation is solidly behind the bereaved family of Parihar bothers. He said for a happy and prosperous society “we all have to join hands to fight out terrorism’’.
He said, he had personally come to Kishtwar to assure the people that both, the BJP as a party and the Government, stood solidly behind them and would undertake all the requisite measures.
Union Minister, Dr Jitendra Singh, while lauding Anil Parihar’s courageous role ever since 1990’s in raising voice against militancy and preventing migration of minorities, said that  Anil Parihar symbolized a crusade and a cause which has gained further momentum with his killing. He said, he had a detailed discussion with the State administration as well as the Union Home Ministry, and reiterated that a proactive approach will be followed, so that the militants fleeing under pressure from the Valley, are not able to open another front in this region.
Dr Jitendra Singh while describing Anil Parihar’s death as a personal loss, said Parihar was playing a very supportive role in his Parliamentary Constituency of Udhampur-Doda-Kathua.
BJP national general secretary, Ram Madhav was categorical in stating that nobody indulging in terrorism will be spared, regardless of whether he is a foreign militant or a local recruit. He said, strict action will be taken even against those local persons who try to facilitate the acts of terrorism for their personal gains.
Madhav also took a dig at those political parties who make a hue and cry when a terrorist is eliminated in the State and said this has boosted the morale of terrorism.
He said the martyrdom of Parihar brothers has redoubled the resolve to intensify the fight against terrorism and the situation also demands that a strong action needs to be taken to flush out the terrorists from the State.
Sunil Sharma announced that soon a befitting memorial will be constructed in Kishtwar in the memory of the martyrs and for this purpose, contribution will be made by him from his MLA fund as well as by Dr Jitendra Singh from his MP Fund.
State BJP president, Ravinder Raina conveyed the support of the entire BJP State unit to the bereaved family and the people of Kishtwar. He said no act of terrorism can defeat their patriotism or our determination to fight against the anti-national forces.
Earlier, on the occasion of the 13th day condolence ceremony of late Anil Parihar and his brother who were gunned down by terrorists on November 1, all top national BJP leaders including Union Ministers  J P Nadda and Dr Jitendra Singh and party’s national general secretary, Ram Madhav visited the Parihar family to pay their condolences to them. They were accompanied by former Minister and local MLA, Sunil Sharma and State BJP President, Ravinder Raina.
A personal letter of condolence from BJP national president, Amit Shah was handed over to the members of Parihar family, who were also informed about the Government order sanctioning jobs to two members of the family as well as financial relief for the bereaved.
BJP leaders handed over cheques of Rs five lakh each to both families. The Government will also provide relief of Rs five lakh each to both bereaved families. Party sources, however, said that they are persuing the Government to pay the compensation of Rs 25 lakh to each family and the party is hopeful that the State Government will soon take a decision on its request.
The families were also handed over two job orders to the families of Parihar brothers.
