Mula Ram projects issues of Raipur-Domana

JAMMU, Oct 20: Former Minister and vice president JKPCC Mula Ram under took tour of Raipur Domana constituency and took stock of the problems of people.
He interacted with the local people and listen their grievances.
While addressing gatherings Mula Ram  said that the vegetable and  paddy crop in the irrigated areas and the maize crop  in Kandi belt of Raipur Domana Constituency were  completely damaged  in the devastating rains and floods and the farmers of the area have suffered  a huge loss. But it is unfortunate that the farmers of these areas have not been provided free ration.
He demanded that Govt. should provide free ration to the farmers of Raipur Domana at par the affected people of other areas. Besides the loss suffered by the farmers should be assessed and the compensation be provided as early as possible, so that they could prepare their fields for sowing ruby crops.
PCC leader further said that the West Pakistan refugees settled in Jammu and Kashmir at the time of partition should  be provided all benefits that are provided to the refugees of PoK. After partition, they chose to stay in Jammu and  Kashmir  and since 1947 they are living in Jammu and Kashmir, depriving them from any  benefit would be injustice with them, he added.
Prominent among those attended the meeting included Tallanter Singh -president Block Congress Committee Bhalwal, Amar Nath -Sarpanch, Sham Lal, Balwan Singh, Dewan Singh.
