MP lays foundation for PMGSY road

JAMMU, July 8: Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma along with Ex-Minister, Sukhnandan Choudhary and Ex-MLA, Bharat Bhushan here today laid foundation stone and started construction work of road from Mishriwala to Tokariyan under Pardhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) in Raipur-Domana constituency.
Speaking on the occasion the MP said that the road is very important as it connects inhabitants of Raipur-Domana and Marh constituencies and a large number of people along with pilgrims to Baba Jitto Ji Jhiri shrine will be benefited by it.
A handout stated that the road was a long pending demand of the locals and Rs 18.29 crore has been sanctioned for it.
“It is only due to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Government that every corner in rural area is getting connectivity under PMGSY,” the MP further said.
Later the MP and Ex-Minister accompanying him held plantation drive at Mishriwala.
Executive Engineer PMGSY Sanjeev Gupta, AEE PMGSY Ashwani Mehra, District President BJP Rural, Omi Khajuria and others were also present on the occasion.
