JAMMU, Aug 7: A deputation of Motor Parts Dealers Association (MPDA) Transport Nagar, Narwal here led by its President, Rajinder P. Kakkar today met VC JDA and raised demands.
They demanded that instead of lease hold rights, free hold rights of allotted shops at Transport Nagar should be granted to ease the process of getting loans from banks or other financial institution.
Another demand was that of getting the lanes and drains at Transport Nagar, Jammu and ISBT repaired by JDA or JMC besides blacktopping of the roads.
Anti-encroachment drive at green strips, roads and all the seven yards of Transport Nagar was also demanded to remove the permanently parked junk vehicles and illegal parking.
After listening to the deputation the VC issued directions to the Executive Engineer for early action.
Sanjay Dogra, General Secretary MPDA, S.S Bhau and others were also present in the deputation.
