KISHTWAR, Oct 27: Police here today arrested an absconding most wanted burglar involved in many cases like one of FIR number 98/2021 Under Sections 380/454/IPC and FIR number 137/2021 Under Sections 380/457/IPC registered at Police Station Bishnah in Jammu district.
SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal informed that Kishtwar Police received information about the absconder after which a dedicated team was constituted which was led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday who was accompanied by PSI Manmeet Singh under the supervision of Dy SP Hqrs Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta.
Following direction of SSP Kishtwar, the team conducted raids at various locations and arrested the absconder Parvaiz Ahmed, son of Ab. Rashid, resident of Gurain, at present Link Road Dewaro Kishtwar.
He was evading his arrest for a long time and was involved in several criminal cases registered at different Police Stations in J&K including Reasi, Udhampur, R.S Pura and Bishnah.
SSP Kishtwar has issued a stern warning to all absconders to surrender as soon as possible else strong legal actions shall be taken against them.
