JAMMU, Jan 8: Fulfilling the long pending demands, Member Legislative Council (MLC) Charanjeet Singh Khalsa inaugurated lane and drain at Basti Gobindpura in Simbal Morh area for the welfare of the residents of Refugee basti.
The estimated cost of the work was Rs 5 lakh.
While speaking, MLC assured the residents that the development will continue in future as BJP is focusing on development and improving the living standards of refugees.
“We should be aware of the fact that previous Governments made fake promises and made the people of the State fool during their regime. We can only get every benefit when we will select the right Government for us as everyone knows that BJP has uplifted the middle class of the society and introduced various schemes so that each individual can get benefits”, he added.
Sarpanch Parvinder Kour, Panch Rajinder Singh Nathu, Panch Kulwant Singh, Panch Tejinder Singh, Panch Hans Raj, Gurdeep Singh, Vicky Simbali and many others were present on the occasion.
