JAMMU, May 8: S Simrandeep Singh, Director School Education along with five MLAs, Sat Sharma, Jammu-West, Dr K L Bhagat (Chhamb), Kuldeep Raj (Hiranagar), Rajeev Sharma (Akhnoor) and Dr Davinder Manyal (Samba) paid a visit to Government Sri Ranbir Higher Secondary School, Jammu to take stock of ongoing renovation work, today.
The dignitaries were quite pleased to see the satisfactory work and appreciated the progress regarding development of the school as model school as declared by Education Minister, Naeem Akhter in presence of MoS Education Priya Sethi.
The Director School Education apprised the visiting MLAs the concept of model school. The MLA’s had a special word of appreciation for Director School Education under whose guidance/supervision the work is under progress. They took a leaf out of this concept of model school so that such schools may be opened in their constituencies.
Deepak Gupta, Principal of the school assured the dignitaries that he will try his best to make S.R.M.L. H.S.S. as model school in true letter and spirit.
