UDHAMPUR, Sept 13: Fulfilling a long pending demand of residents of Sangoor area, MLA Udhampur Pawan Kumar Gupta today kick started lane and drain work from NHW to Filter Plant at Sangoor.
The lane work comprised of 450 mtrs length with an estimated cost of Rs 8.00 lakhs under CDF.
The MLA was accompanied by AE RDD, Veer Krishan and others. The people of the area greeted Pawan Gupta with garlands and expressed their gratitude to him for fulfilling their long pending demand.
While Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the work was being done on the long pending demand of the locals as this lane and drains was not in a good shape thus causing lot of problems to the masses.
Those present on the occasion, included Rohit Sethi, Bansi Lal, Gorkhu and locals, including women of the area.
