JAMMU, Mar 9: Expressing serious concern over the luring of youth for lobbing of grenades Balbir Ram Rattan, J&K BJP spokesperson, has made a fervent appeal to the elders in the families in Kashmir to keep check on the activities of their children so that they can’t fall in the trap of anti social and anti national elements who are hell bent to spoil their future.
Referring to a news items in this regard that youth are being propagated to lob grenades at the busy places, he said that it is indeed a matter of serious concern, which needs to be taken note and an effective strategy formulated to check such incidents.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that militancy has only caused massive losses of precious lives and damaged properties amounting to thousand of crores during the last 32 years. No one has gained anything from the militant related activities. It only brought destruction and unrest in Kashmir in particular.
The youth should not forget that many among them have lost their parents, relatives and friends. Instead of getting misguided and lured, they should take pledge to defeat the nefarious designs of anti-national forces and across the border sponsored terrorism and contribute in making J&K totally free of any threat, fear and risk to life, he added.
