Mild intensity quake jolts Bhaderwah, no injury

JAMMU, Dec 21: Panic gripped people when moderate intensity earthquake on Friday rocked Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“An earthquake of moderate intensity this morning shook parts of Bhaderwah Valley thus triggering panic among the residents.
Official sources said that the quake, measuring 3.7 on the Richter Scale, struck the Bhaderwah belt at around 0348 hours.
Meanwhile police said that as of now, there is no immediate report of any casualty or damage to the property.
People however, rushed out of their homes and took shelter in safe locations.
