JAMMU, Feb 3: A free medical camp was organized here today by Vinayak Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science (VINPS) with People’s Hut Foundation (PHF) under Mobile Health Clinic Program of PHF in Akalpur.
Organizers of the Camp Dr. Rohit Koul and Dr. Amardeep said that such type of medical health check-up camps for needy citizens will be organized periodically at various locations in Jammu.
Facilities provided at the Camp included free consultations by specialists in the field of mental health, anxiety, hypertension, cardiology, ENT, orthopedic, gynecology etc.
There were also facilities like ECG, sugar testing, oxygen level testing and special menstrual health and hygiene kits were distributed amongst women.
The medical camp witnessed a footfall of about 467 persons.
Social Activists S. Jagjivin Singh, Chamel Singh and Parveen Chowdhary, Team Member of PHF and VINPS were also present.
District AYUSH Officer Jammu, Dr. Suresh Sharma and Medical Camp In-charge, Dr. Dheeraj Raina, Medical Officer along with Dr. Imran and Dr. Hancy Sharma from KIRF accomplished the camp successfully.
