COVID testing in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Sept 1: The elected members of Municipal Council Udhampur today extended full cooperation to the district administration in intensifying the COVID testing in the township.
During a meeting with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nagendra Singh Jamwal, the acting President Municipal Council, Surinder Singh Khalsa, Councillors, Preeti Khajuria, Vikram Slathia, Sunil Proach, Darshan Kumar, Samneek Bhasin, Anil Arora, Rakesh Kumar, Jagdish Kumar participated expressed concern over rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases.
The meeting was held on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla.
All the Councillors unanimously extended their cooperation to the District Administration for massive sampling cum testing in sweeping manner for staff of business establishments, general public and Government employees for the containment of COVID-19 in Udhampur town.
