JAMMU, June 10: All J&K Youth Federation (AJKYF) held a meeting through video conferencing after the notification of Jammu University, Cluster Universities and Self Dean Colleges of Jammu division and discussed the issue of examination of various UG and PG courses.
Federation Convener said that mass promotion is need of the hour for all the students of UG and PG courses of J&K UT as there is exponential rise in the number of COVID-19 positive cases across the UT.
“On one hand lack of high speed internet services makes it difficult for students to attend online classes and on the other hand students without smart phones are unable to get any kind of study material to prepare for the examination,” the Federation Convener claimed.
Speakers in the meeting said students studying in various colleges in Jammu Division have come from entire UT including Kashmir Division and even from the UT of Ladakh and conducting examination for all the students will be unjustified and a risky job during continuous increase of COVID-19 cases.
Prominent among those who joined the meeting were Arjun Sharma, Convener; Nakul Sharma, Spokesperson; Ch. Sanjay Singh Sandhu, Incharge Jammu Province and others.
