JAMMU, Nov 15: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma flayed the BJP Government and termed it as the biggest failure ever in the history of India to take any concrete step in actual to tackle the menace of black money and try to befool the people by shifting their attention towards demonetization.
Dr Sharma said that the demonetization step taken by Modi Government has negligible impact on black money as only 0.5 % black money could have been checked, but many other activities which encourage and promote black money is still in existence and not a single initiative has been taken by Modi Government to check further growth of black money in future even after completion of more than two and half years in power.
He alleged that Government had conveyed the decision of demonitization well in time to the nears and dears in corporate and political circle so that they may able to manage the things in time as such the case of West Bengal BJP supremo where before 15 minutes of the announcement the cash was deposited in the bank in a hurry.
Dr Sharma alleged further that Tuglaki Ferman of BJP Government, without any proper home work has caused severe hardships to the common people, especially of rural areas where there is dearth of banking facility and people are forced to traverse long distances on foot to change their hard money exchanged.
