JAMMU, Nov 1: “Power is gained by spreading knowledge”, and “rise in Jammu & Kashmir 2018 experiences” -the exhibition witnessed a huge crowd on the second day today here at Bhagwati Nagar, Yatri Niwas.
The exhibition was to fulfill the wholesome objective of spreading knowledge to generation X, farmers and general masses about research and developments in the fields of Science and Technology, Skill Development and Education, Information Technology, Communication, Agriculture , Labour and Employment, Industrial Development, Innovation, Crafts, Culture and Government schemes and programmes.
“Rise in Jammu and Kashmir 2018” is a platform for science and technology lovers, farmers, traders, industrialists & students to interact with policy makers, scientists and researchers and will give a glimpse of experiments and researchers in the various fields.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shamsher Singh Manhas, MP (Rajya Sabha) and Sat Sharma, MLA, Jammu.
Speaking to media, MP appreciated the exhibition. He said I am amazed to see the participation of a large number of people in it and taking interest about learning in various departments, their schemes and their policies initiated for the welfare of general masses.
He said the exhibition has also focused to promote the schemes of various ministries and departments. The even will be useful and fruitful in popularizing the flagship schemes among the masses and youngsters.
ISRO, ICMR, Power Grid, GSI, Department of Atomic , NSDC, V V Giri, National Labour Institute, NHPC, Northern Railways, students, Project Display were the centre of attraction as they were highly knowledgeable, and presentable with all the models presenting the latest involvement and techniques. Students showed keen interest in quiz sessions and participated in various competitions held by organizing team of rise in Jammu and Kashmir 2018.
