JAMMU, Dec 24: All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha in cooperation with Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satang Society is organizing “Manav Kalyan Sant Sammelan” under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj at Gurudwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj, Krishna Nagar on December 29.
Addressing a press conference, Vijay Lochan, president, all J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha said that in this sammelan saints from J&K and other States will deliver religious sermons.
To discuss the arrangements for the conduct of sammelan various meeting were conducted in Ramgarh, Bishnah and RS Pura sectors. These meetings were arranged with the help of Manohar Lal Pathi, DD Shivgotra and ML Banalia Pathi.
Lochan further added that such type of sant sammelans will help in maintaining communal harmony, brotherhood and will also create peace loving atmosphere.
Kesar Singh, convener, Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satsang Society requested the people to participate in the sant sammelan. Akhand path will start at 10 am, followed by amrit varsha by saints from 11 am to 1:30 pm and guru ka langer.
Sham Lal Basson, general secretary appealed all president, general secretaries, chairmen of branch sabhas/societies to participate in the sammelan to receive the blessings of Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj and saints.
Among others present were Sham Sunder Basson, Mohan Lal Hans, Kesar Singh, CL Banal, Sham Lal Basson, Parshotam Thappa, Simar Dass, Sham Basson, Balbir Kumar, Sat Paul and Ajeet Basson.
