RAMBAN, Aug 25: Police arrested a person along with 130 grams of charas here today.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Ramban police station intercepted a person on suspicious grounds at Bus Stand.
During checking, police recovered 130 grams of charas and arrested the person on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Kareem, son of Ghulam Din Sheikh of Nabal Balihote.
A case under FIR Number 89/15 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against the accused at Ramban police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban police station Inspector Ajay Chib made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Mohammad Rafiq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
