KATHUA, Apr 5: Lakhanpur police arrested a man and recovered 45 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Lakhanpur Police Station apprehended a man and recovered 45 pouches of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Raghubir Singh, son of Munshi Ram, a resident of Karroh, district Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 26/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Lakhanpur Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Lakhanpur Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of DySP DAR DPL Kathua Gourav Majahan, Additional SP Kathua Sanjay Parihar and SSP Kathua Suleman Choudhary.
