RAJOURI, Nov 10: A villager committed suicide by hanging in Lam area of Nowshera today.
The deceased has been identified as Joginder Singh, son of Mela Ram, resident of Rajpatta village in Lam area.
The man was found hanging in his room by the family members who informed police. Later, Nowshera police party reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem to Sub-District Hospital.
The police registered a case and started investigation into the matter. The cause behind this extreme step would not be ascertained immediately.
