JAMMU, Dec 21: A man was today found hanging in his hotel room at Kanak Mandi falling under the limits of City police station.
According to police spokesperson, the man identified as Wasim Raja (35) son of Abdul, a resident of Chilrai Nagar, Guhati (Assam) was today found hanging with the hook of the ceiling fan in his room in Hotel Arti, where he had been living since yesterday.
The body of the deceased was found hanging by the hotel employees, who informed the police. On getting information, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem.
A case in this connection has been registered at City police station and information of the incident has been conveyed to the family members of the deceased in Guhati.
