RAJOURI, Nov 24: A 35-year-old man committed suicide while a young girl made attempt on her life, in two separate incidents in district Rajouri today.
Police said 35-year old Anil Kumar, son of Ved Parkash, resident of Mubarakpora was rushed to Rajouri Hospital during last mid night after he consumed some poisonous stuff at home. He died at around 4 am in the hospital today. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem.
Meanwhile, young Najma Parveen, daughter of Bagh Hussain, resident of Sam Samad consumed some poisonous pills at her residence this afternoon. She was rushed to Rajouri Hospital where doctors referred her to GMC Hospital Jammu after providing preliminary treatment. The police has taken cognizance.
