Srinagar, July 22: A 45 year old man drowned in a stream at Kangan area of Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.
A police spokesman said Mohammad Shafi Mandov, resident of Noorbagh Palpora in Srinagar, drowned in Nallah Sindh.
“Police and locals of the area fished out the body from nallah and shifted to Sub District Hospital Kangan for medico-legal formalities. After completing the formalities, the body was handed over to his relatives for last rites,” the spokesman added.
