RAMBAN, July 20: A man died due to fall near Panthyal, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramsoo Police Station.
As per police sources, a man identified as Abdul Rashed, son of Gul Mohammad Mir, a resident of Habakadal Srinagar was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu in his car bearing registration number JK01U-4325, when he stopped his vehicle and de-boarded from it near Panthyal.
As his foot slipped, the man suddenly fell into the gorge and died on the spot.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the body from the gorge.
The body was shifted to PHC Ramsoo, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Ramsoo police has taken cognizance in this regards.
