SAMBA, Oct 11: A man today allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train in Bari Brahmana area.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Sham Lal (34) son of Bansi Lal, resident of Kattal, B Brahmana, tehsil and district Samba, was killed on the spot after he jumped in front of Malwa Express near Railway Bridge at Smailpur.
He said that the body of the deceased was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem while a case has been registered at Police Station GRP Jammu and investigations started.
