JAMMU, Aug 16: Bishnah police arrested a man along 20 litres of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Tahir Yousaf Khan intercepted a person at Nandpur area.
During frisking, police team recovered 20 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Ajay Kumar, son of Balbir Singh of Nandpur Tehsil Bishnah, District Kathua.
A case under FIR Number 136/2020 under section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
