JAMMU, Nov 29: Apni Party today took on BJP and People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) for their failure on developmental front in Jammu region especially in District Development Council (DDC) constituency Bhalwal Brahmana with false propaganda and divisive agenda.
“The BJP along with PAGD is trying to divert the attention of the voters and communalize the situation on regional basis,” said Apni Party general secretary, Vikram Malhotra. He alleged that they are again trying to hoodwink people for their political gains in both regions of J&K.
“The BJP and PAGD have delivered nothing on the developmental front in the last 70 years and are trying to befool people again in DDC polls,” he added.
Condemning the ruling BJP, Malhotra said, ” The BJP is not in a position to contest polls even at the local level when it comes to District Development Council (DDC) elections. They have done nothing on ground and their contact with people has led to the statements in the media.”
Malhotra was speaking at a series of public meetings at Bhalwal Brahmana. He was accompanied by State Coordinator for OBC, Madan Lal Chalotra, Vijay Kumar, Sohan Singh Sony, Vijay Sharma and others.
He said that the underdevelopment has become a symbol across Jammu for BJP to identify their failures. “They have become unpopular among the people and in these circumstances compelled the J&K leadership of BJP to import leaders from Delhi and Himachal Pradesh to campaign for them,” he said.
JKAP leader said that the BJP leaders avoid interacting with the people. With their efforts, Jammu is known for Toll Plazas and the authority’s arrogant attitude. The elections have given an opportunity to the people to elect their genuine representative who can redress their issues and help them in difficult times.
He said that the people should know that the Apni Party had raised voice for statehood and protection to jobs and land in J&K. The BJP and other political parties like Congress have become high profile and they do not care for the common man.
Ravi Kant Sharma, who is a contesting candidate from this DDC constituency, also spoke on the occasion and highlighted how the people of Bhalwal Brahmana have been made to suffer.
